On December 7th, the State Industrial Property Office of the Republic of North Macedonia marked 30 years of its existence. The solemn event was opened by Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, President of the Republic of North Macedonia, with a welcoming speech. Then the director of the State Office for Industrial Property, Mr. Blerim Idrizi, greeted the present guests and gave a brief overview of the Office's achievements and successes so far. Welcome speech to the present guests was given by: Mr. Habib Asan, Director of the Department for Transition and Developing Countries of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mr. Christoph Ernst, Vice-President for Legal and International Affairs of the European Patent Organization, Mr. Ibon Omarzabal, coordinator of the countries of the European neighborhood and candidate countries, International Cooperation Service at the European Union Intellectual Property Organization (EUIPO) and the first director of the State Office for Industrial Property, Mr. Gjorgi Filipov.
