The State Office of Industrial Property informs that the traditional annual event Patent of the Year and the celebration of April 26th - World Intellectual Property Day will be postponed, in accordance with the measures of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for protection against COVID-19. The event Patent of the Year will be held after the end of the crisis and crisis measures.
This year, we welcome April 26th in different conditions. It is the duty of every institution and every citizen to contribute to the protection of public health. At the same time, this crisis highlights the enormous role of innovation in finding solutions to the problems that humanity is facing.
We, as Office, are continuing to work intensively on improving the cooperation between the institutions and all stakeholders, as well as improving the entire system of intellectual property rights in the Republic of North Macedonia.
