Women inventors from 17 countries from Asia, Europe and Africa participated in the International Exhibition organized by the International Women Inventors Organization of Korea “KIWIE 2014”, which was held from 16 to 19 May in Seoul, South Korea. The State Industrial Property Office of the Republic of Macedonia participated with two inventions, namely the patent that was declared the patent of the year for 2013 by the inventors Resmi Ziba, Vaid Airo, Momchula Jordanoski, Valentina Pelivanova and the invention in the field of medicine by the inventor Dr. Liljana Simjanovska. The inventions at the exhibition were evaluated by the KIWIE 2013 Expert Committee, composed of members, experts from various fields of science and technology, as well as special awards from other representatives of the countries participating in the exhibition.
The KIWIE 2014 Expert Committee awarded the following awards to the presented Macedonian inventions:
1. SILVER MEDAL with a diploma for the invention “TECHNICAL TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTION FOR TREATMENT AND PROCESSING OF WASTE SLUDGE FROM MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS AND OBTAINING COMBINED ORGANIC-MINERAL FERTILIZER” to the inventors Resmi Ziba, Vaid Airo, Momchula Jordanoski and Valentina Pelivanova.
2. BRONZE MEDAL with a diploma, for the invention “CO2 INCUBATOR WITH A DEVICE FOR DIRECTLY CONTROLLED AIR IONIZATION” of the inventor Dr. Liljana Simjanovska.
During the ceremony of awarding special awards by the organizer, the special award awarded by the President of the Federation of Korean Industry, Mr. Chang Soo Huh, was awarded to the invention of the inventors Resmi Ziba, Vaid Airo, Momchula Jordanoski, Valentina Pelivanova. The same invention also received a Diploma from the First Institute of Inventors and Researchers of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Special awards from representatives of the countries participating in the exhibition were also awarded to the invention “CO2 INCUBATOR WITH A DEVICE FOR DIRECTLY CONTROLLED AIR IONIZATION” of the inventor Dr. Liljana Simjanovska, namely:
1. - GOLD MEDAL with Diploma from the Association of Women Inventors “NOVA” in Bosnia and Herzegovina
2. - Diploma from IFIA – International Federation of Inventors Associations based in Saudi Arabia.
