Report on the presentation of the Republic of Macedonia at the International Exhibition of “Ideas-Inventions-New Products” IENA 2012, Nuremberg, Germany (01 -04 November 2012)

The delegation from the State Office for Industrial Property of the Republic of Macedonia, consisting of: Mr. Jetmir Shabani, Head of the Patent Department and Ms. Irena Daneva, Head of the Department for Technological Monitoring and Promotion, participated in the international exhibition of ideas-inventions-new products-IENA2012, which was held from 01 to 04 November, in Nuremberg, Germany. Over 34 countries participated in the exhibition, presenting more than 750 inventions.

The Republic of Macedonia, in order to promote Macedonian inventions internationally, participated in this internationally recognized fair. Five inventions were presented at the exhibition, which once again confirmed that the inventions of Macedonian inventors that are subject to protection by industrial property rights are valuable for commercialization and transfer of technologies at the national and international level.

The Macedonian stand attracted a great influence not only on the International Jury but also on the other participants of the fair as well as on the visitors.

The IENA2012 awards ceremony was held on November 3, 2012.

The international expert jury awarded the following awards:

GOLD MEDAL – to the inventor Stojce Smileski, for the invention “INTEGRATED BRAKE FOR SWIVEL CARRIAGES”.

SILVER MEDAL – to the inventor Joti Popovski, for the invention “ANAEROBIC TREATMENT STATION WITH BIOFILTRATION”.

BRONZE MEDAL – to the inventors Jakup Kadriu and Arben Ziberi for the invention “INSECT DESTRUCTION PREPARATION – BLATIDA GERMANICA” and

BRONZE MEDAL – to the inventor Žaklina Stamboliška for the invention “METHOD FOR PROACTIVE MONITORING OF THE CONDITION OF SLOW-ROTATING MACHINES”.

The following special awards were also awarded:

-PLATE with a diploma from the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports of Romania to the inventor Stojce Smileski, for the invention “INTEGRATED BRAKE FOR ROTATING UNDERCARRIAGES”.

-GOLD MEDAL with a diploma from the Russian Association for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation to the inventor Stojce Smileski, for the invention “INTEGRATED BRAKE FOR SWIVEL UNDERCARRIAGES”.

-GOLD MEDAL with a diploma from the Russian Association for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation to the inventors Jakup Kadriu and Arben Ziberi, for the invention “INSECT DESTRUCTION PREPARATION – BLATIDA GERMANICA”.

-GOLD MEDAL with a diploma from the Society for Inventions and Design of Malaysia to the inventor Joti Popovski, for the invention “ANAEROBIC TREATMENT STATION WITH BIOFILTRATION”.

-PLATE with a diploma from the Hungarian Inventors' Association to the inventor: Žaklina Stamboliška, for the invention "METHOD FOR PROACTIVE MONITORING OF THE CONDITION OF SLOW-ROTATING MACHINES".

CERTIFICATE for contribution to invention from the Association of Women Inventors NOVA from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the inventor: Žaklina Stamboliška, for the invention "METHOD FOR PROACTIVE MONITORING OF THE CONDITION OF SLOW-ROTATING MACHINES" and

-BRONZE ARK with a diploma from the Croatian Inventors' Association to the inventor: Vlatko Zdravkovski for the invention "SINGLE-PHASE ELECTRICAL RECTIFIER FOR VOLTAGE 12v AND CURRENT 5A".
