Geographic name already protected geographical indication or appellation of origin in the country can be protected abroad on the basis of bilateral agreements on mutual protection and international agreements ratified by the Republic of Macedonia.

Application for protection outside the country can submit only users of geographical names entered in the appropriate register of the Office.
